The Man Behind Big Picture

I'm JB, qualified Life Coach (DipLC) and Counsellor (BCouns), and one of the few people doing this work in New Zealand who has also built, led, and exited a significant business.

Raised in rural Waikato, I went on to work internationally as a Town Planner on projects in London, including infrastructure work on the 2012 Olympics build. I then returned home and spent a decade helping establish and scale a multidisciplinary consulting firm to over 120 staff across five offices at my time of exit. I've led people through growth, pressure, and change.

I've also lived a full life alongside all of that as a partner, father, multisport athlete and outdoorsman. I am also someone who has faced significant loss and come through it with more clarity and purpose than ever.

Combining my business background with my coaching and counselling qualifications puts me in a genuinely uncommon position and getting to bring both to clients all over New Zealand is something I feel excited and fortunate to do.
